Writing

A NaNoWriMo Disclaimer

Well loves, it’s here. November is upon us and I’m not quite sure how it snuck up so quickly but isn’t that how it seems to always go? Time just seems to move faster and faster the older you get, I’m convinced of this.

This little disclaimer may be unwarranted in the end but I just thought I’d cover my butt. I have a whole schedule written out of blog posts for the entire month of novel writing madness, and I even have a number of them written already (!), but just in case I miss a few days, here is why!

NaNo-2017-Participant-Facebook-Cover

NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month, is this crazy thing where thousands of people from all over the world come together and write a novel (50,000) in 30 days.

Crazy? Most definitely.

Totally rewarding? That would be the plan.

If you’ve been around these parts for awhile, you’ll know I’ve mentioned before that I’ve wanted to write a novel for as long as I can remember, but something always seemed to get in the way. Well, not this year.

So for the next 30 days, 28 if I can beat my own personal goal, I’m going to be meeting a daily (and weekly) wordcount goal so that at the end of the month I will finally be able to check this little dream off my list. And who knows, maybe it’ll even make it into your Kindle app someday.

Every Wednesday I’ll be putting a little update post on here for anyone who is interested in how my writing, and word count, is going. Click on the Writing tab above to see all of the posts at once.

Send all of the good luck and wishes my way please, and to everyone else who is taking on this endeavor with me! Check my IG Story or Twitter for more up-to-date and real-timey glimpses at the writing process.
